Twitter and Facebook have turned into the two default social networks for companies to market their brands on. In the past however, there was no real variation between Twitter accounts for brands andthose for particular users.
This meant brand personalisation was incredibly restricted. Now brands will have their own destination web page which will be great for brand development and recognition.
The new design will roll out throughout the next few weeks as Twitter revealed. The same is applicable for the brand pages. The will soon discharge this function for businesses and brands everywhere.
The first thing to observe with the new Twitter is that navigation has become a lot easier and more efficient. With simply one click onany update, customers can gain all the data they need from a tweet.
Jack Dorsey, co-founder and chairman of Twitter said that the main goal of the overhaul is to make “Twitter more accessible for all 7 billionpeople on the planet” especially considering that they already see Twitter as “the best place to exemplify yourself on the web”
With more than 300 million users (reported for 2011) that generate over 300 milliontweets and over 1.6 billion searches each day Twitter was missing a suitable advertising and marketing system to genuinely cash in on this substantial traffic.
Brand web pages have two crucials, each of them free. They can be individualized with large header illustrations that marketers can utilize to display their logo and tagline moreprominently than under the typical format. Brands can also decide tokeep a specific tweet at the top of their time line, and that top tweet alsoauto-expands to reveal expose an embedded photo or video without calling forthe user to take action.
By parting @ replies and mentions Twitter facilitates the customer service savvy businesses without interfering with the messaging. It’s a clevermove for certain and one that will certainly make for fascinating interactions.
Another function that might become very useful is the “Who tofollow” box on the left.
This is a fantastic different method to uncover people close to your network whom you might not know about. Users can click the “x”on any person who is not appropriate, and browse constantly throughthis tool to find people.
These latest design enhancements mean that if personnel arebusy managing all of your business actions, the new Twitter permits companies to expand networks in a very small andfocused stretch of time.
