Google Analytics now integrates with AdSense by Steve Swallow
Google has enabled integration between Analytics and AdSense for all users.
The search engine had only previously enabled a small number of website owners to take advantage of the integration by invitation only, but has now rolled out the feature to all.
Users need to change their settings to enable the integration, which then lets them view new reports such as those on page-specific performance, incoming traffic and when their sites generate the most revenue.
A new AdSense Revenue tab in Google Analytics also allows website owners to compare data on revenues from new visitors with existing ones and see figures on income based on user language.
“Enjoy your new data, and be sure to visit the Help Center if you have other questions about linking your accounts or reviewing your reports,” commented Sebastian Tonkin of Google in a post on the Google Analytics blog.
Earlier this month, an application programming interface (API) for Google Analytics was launched to let developers extend the tool for a variety of end uses.
Google said that the API could be used by large companies and agencies to integrate Analytics data with their own statistics, for example.
